Our team enjoyed a triple celebration this week, as an award winning PR agency in Scotland we secured three awards in the prestigious CIPR (Chartered Insitute of PR) PRide awards. 

We were also proud to see the inauguration of a new Lifetime Achievement Award in honour of our late Chair, Ian Coldwell.  Won by veteran PR expert, Jane Cumming, who was a CIPR colleague and friend of Ian, it was fitting for Jane to take the first award. 

The team scooped a Gold in the Consumer Relations category for work on client, Frame Technologies – a premium timber constructor of self-build homes.  Using digital marketing, marketing, SEO, social media and media relations, Pagoda has seen the business double its sales targets in a year.

A second Gold was awarded for Pagoda’s work launching leading hospitality business, Compass Scotland as a distinct brand.  Faced with Covid restrictions, working from home and the need for virtual events, the team created a livestream cookalong with food influencers and hospitality journalists alongside strong social media and media relations.  Securing wide recognition for the new company in trade media really put them on the map. 

Our third award was a Silver in the Corporate and Business Communications category, also for Compass Scotland’s launch.   Good, strong B2B media relations has supported the sales and new business drive and secured a profile in the trade media read by its customers. 

While celebrations are not entirely face to face yet, we still managed to raise a glass to the talent of our team and the support of our clients.  Well done Team Pagoda!
