Afternoon Tea in a country escape with Mum

26th February 2018

Luxury venue, Dundas Castle has a treat for Mother’s Day this year with free afternoon tea for all Boathouse bookings.  Ideal as a gift, a stay in the secluded one bedroom self-catering cottage in the heart of the Dundas Estate on a private loch is a true tranquil escape from everyday life.

Situated just outside Edinburgh, the Boathouse offers beautiful views and provides the most perfect, relaxing and cosy retreat; a gift Mum is guaranteed to enjoy.  To make her stay even more special, Dundas has teamed up with The Little Bakery of South Queensferry and The Wee Tea Company to provide the complimentary afternoon tea.

All bookings quoting ‘Mother’s Day’ confirmed by 11th March will have the complimentary afternoon tea hamper delivered to the boathouse for their arrival.  All of the contents are handmade by The Little Bakery and consist of luxury cupcakes, scones with homemade jam, shortbread, tablet and ‘teasecco’, a speciality tea blend by The Wee Tea Company.

As the weather warms up, what could be better than breakfast on the verandah overlooking the loch?

Beyond the extensive estate, there is quick and easy access to surrounding areas.  South Queensferry, a coastal village with magnificent views of the famous Forth bridges, is just a short drive away.  Scotland’s capital city, with beautiful historic buildings, excellent restaurants and tourist attractions, is 25 minutes from the Boathouse and the estate is only 15 minutes to Edinburgh international airport.

This offer is valid for any bookings confirmed before the 11th March 2018 for a stay before the end of May 2018.

Please email boathouse@dundascastle.co.uk for further information or to book a stay in the Boathouse.
