Cramond Residence strengthens management team

Edinburgh’s newest and finest care home, Cramond Residence has appointed Dorothy Brown as Client Relationship Manager.

Cramond Residence is a purpose-built care home finished to an exceptional standard and will be managed exclusively by Walker Healthcare. Dorothy will work closely with general manager Eileen Gray to ensure residents have a smooth transition into life at the home.

Dorothy has been with the Walker Group for three years and was recognised for her excellent customer care skills. Passionate about building lasting relationships with clients, Dorothy will be the first point of contact for residents and their families and will ensure the journey to life at the Residence is as stress free as possible.

Located to the north-west of Edinburgh, Cramond is easily accessible for people living across the Lothians and Fife, while on the doorstep of some of the city’s finest coastal views and paths from the tranquil village of Cramond.

A local to Cramond, Dorothy has already been instrumental in developing relationships with the community and will work closely with local services in her role as Client Relationship Manager. She will be based in the home’s onsite Information Suite until Cramond Residence opens early next year.

Commenting on her new role, Dorothy said: “I am extremely excited to be part of the team opening this great facility in my local community. Cramond Residence is set to be somewhere residents can really enjoy their later years and I look forward to welcoming our first residents.”

Welcoming Dorothy to the team, Graeme Kelly, director at Walker Healthcare, said: “Dorothy’s sense of compassion and ability to build meaningful relationships means she is a perfect fit for this role at Cramond Residence. She is a customer relations expert and will use her experience to make sure our resident’s settle into life at Cramond as easily as possible.”

Cramond Residence is due to be complete late winter 2017/18 with a view to opening in spring 2018.
