Introducing the brand new Heston from Waitrose range

Today, Friday 30th September, Waitrose unveils an inspiring new-look Heston from Waitrose range.

Six years ago, the British chef teamed up with Waitrose and created a host of unique products. This week that range will relaunch with a new design and ten new products, including a brand new Christmas pudding showstopper, a mince pie with a twist and some incredible edible baubles.

The range now includes nearly 60 products with packaging that reflects Heston’s passion for quality ingredients, quintessentially British traditions and curious flavour combinations.

The quirky illustrations feature fun anthropomorphic characters – animals impeccably dressed in human clothing – who embody the whimsy of the Heston from Waitrose range. From a pig in pearls on the bacon rasher pack, to the family of cows on the new ice cream tubs, the eye-popping designs all have a story behind them.

Shoppers will certainly be able to spice up theirChristmas this year as the iconic Hidden Orange Pudding is back – looking better than ever – along with some magical edible baubles, a chocolate selection box with a tasty twist and many more distinctive products. Other much-loved favourites will also still be there, including rich and indulgent parfaits, light, fluffy brioche buns and a crisp and refreshing Lemon & Earl Grey Gin.

Heston Blumenthal, said: “I am thrilled with the outcome of the new range, having spent a lot of time developing the look and feel of the products, making sure they are the best they possibly can be and going that extra mile to make sure the taste is better than ever. As always, I wanted to offer something a little extraordinary to the Heston from Waitrose range, giving that magic twist to a product to make it exceptional. With something for every occasion this Christmas, I hope each product can provoke natural curiosity and spark imagination to make the festive season extra special.”

Rupert Thomas, Waitrose Marketing Director, said: “We hope that the new range and quirky look will encapsulate the fun we’ve had creating the range with Heston. Each and every product is carefully created to deliver truly outstanding taste, as well as bringing an unexpected twist to our favourite dishes, making it easier than ever for customers to experience the very latest in food innovation in their very own kitchen. We can’t wait to see what our customers make of these curious new additions, and I’m sure they’ll be a hit this Christmas.”
