Job Vacancy: Account Executive

Due to increased business, Pagoda PR has another vacancy for a dynamic and ambitious Account Executive. The ideal candidate will be a recent graduate who may have some experience in one or more of these disciplines: media relations, public affairs, social media and/or communications.

Training and development will very much be part of this role and we are looking for someone who will grow their career with us.  We employ people who have a hard work ethic, a passion for teamwork and a results-driven approach – for us, finding the right fit is as important as the right experience.  In return we will provide the opportunity for growth and the chance to work in a supportive and skilled team.

We like to reward our colleagues, so the post comes with an attractive package including a staff bonus pool, private health insurance, fitness bonus and an auto-enrolment pension scheme.  Our team is currently hybrid working, so you’d be based in our office in Edinburgh with the option of some home working too.

If you’d like to find out more, or apply for the position, please email for a job description and application form.

Please note, an application for this position must include a CV and a completed application form.

Closing date is Tuesday 24 May at 5 pm and interviews will be held in person on Tuesday 24 (for early applications) and Tuesday 31 of May.

Would you like to be part of our team?

We have a close-knit team that enjoys the work we do for our clients. We are always interested in hearing from you if you have the right experience to work with us in public relations, digital comms or public affairs. We always like to chat to people who might be potential members of the team in the future.

We have a number of openings identified for the future, largely at PR Assistant, Account Executive and Senior Account Executive level.  If you have skills in B2B or policy-based PR it is worth getting in touch with your details.   We will provide training and development for the right person – and are happy to speak speculatively, particularly with people looking to move across from another agency or from in-house.

We also have an increasing amount of work within our public affairs/political team and are interested in talking to people looking for a career in policy and public affairs.  In some instances we have short term internships in public affairs, so it’s always worth sending in your CV.

So if you think you could bring curiosity, insight and intelligence to our business and demonstrate a passion for what we do, while bringing a belief in team playing, then send a speculative CV to and start the conversation.
