Esther Black
Senior Consultant
Esther Black joined Pagoda in January 2008 as a Senior Consultant with nine years experience in journalism and PR.
Formerly communications manager at National Museums Scotland where she worked on a major refurbishment project, she has managed complex media relations programmes and campaigns. Esther has had experience of hands-on press office work for both the University of Dundee and the Scottish Green MSPs. She has significant expertise in handling controversial media issues that have public policy implications. This has typically involved developing and implementing media strategies, preparing communications materials and coaching media spokespeople.
Esther has a background in journalism, having worked as a reporter on The Courier and as a sub-editor and feature writer for The Sunday Post.
