Giselle Dye
Director
Giselle joined Pagoda in 1998 and is a Board director with 25 years’ experience in press and public relations across all sectors, from consumer to charity, and arts to property.
She specialises in communications research and strategy development, media relations and copywriting on a wide variety of subjects from supermarket sourcing policies and business improvement districts, to complaints schemes and water services
Giselle is currently the lead director on accounts including Remploy, Waitrose and Scotland’s Commissioner for Children and Young People. Over the last 10 years she has managed programmes on behalf of a wide range of companies and organisations, from The British Council and Scottish Arts Council, to Communities Scotland, Borders College and Jobcentre Plus.
Before joining Pagoda she worked as a freelance communication consultant, training a wide range of organisations including British Gas and North of Scotland Water. Other experience includes Communications Manager at The National Galleries of Scotland and at the City of Edinburgh Council in Housing.
Giselle has also had a variety of senior communication roles in London, including account Director for a London PR and marketing consultancy, where she won the 1989 IPR Sword of Excellence for Best Long Term Campaign for changing public and industry perceptions of Lycra.
Giselle has been a member of the Public Relations Advisory Panel, for the PR and Media, Corporate Communciation and MSc Public Relations programmes at Queen Margaret University since 2005.
