Julie joined Pagoda PR in August 2011 from the Dumfries and Galloway Standard and Galloway News where she was a senior reporter. Bringing six years’ experience in both print and broadcast journalism, she is now working across a number of clients including The Crown Estate, Heriot Watt University and Meallmore.
Julie’s skills include writing creative copy, identifying stories, targeting most appropriate media and supporting media engagement by third parties and advocates. She moved from journalism into media relations with Pagoda PR to broaden her skills in issues-driven communications, public affairs and to reach a wider mix of specialist and lay audiences.
Julie has a (BA Hons) degree in Journalism from Napier University in Edinburgh.
