Ian Coldwell

Ian has developed the company's results-led approach, managing communication reviews and strategy development work and plays a leading role on corporate PR, corporate social responsibility and public sector programmes.
He has played a leading role on a wide range of accounts ranging from London 2012 to The Crown Estate. This has involved the development of communications strategies for complex and often controversial programmes ranging from public private partnerships in the NHS to the promoting the role of low cost airlines such as Go and easyJet.
Ian joined the company from Centrica plc where he was group community relations manager, having previously led the British Gas area communications teams. Until 1995, Ian was PR Manager for City of Edinburgh Council, in charge of the media relations team. Before this he played a variety of PR roles in the public and voluntary sectors.
He was twice Chair or the Institute of Public Relations in Scotland and was made a Fellow of the CIPR in 2004.
He is a member of the Scottish Council of Contact a Family, a charity for families with disabled children.
