Green Knight’s Quest

Housebuilders have plenty to complain about, says Bryant Homes director David Knight, despite the boom in the housing sector. “Land prices have risen by two and half times in the last five years, with building costs up 15%. There is an acute shortage of skills that needs to be addressed with the help of government. …. The great Scottish Housing debate is only just beginning, but Knight and his colleagues are keen to become fully engaged. They just hope that Margaret Curran is listening.”

Pagoda PR provides a public affairs and public relations service for Homes for Scotland, the umbrella body representing the interests of Scottish house builders. Our main focus is coalition building for the organisation among the media, policiticans and the Scottish Executive. In particular, we aim to influence the debate in Scotland about the proposed Planning Bill, the Third Party Right of Appeal and recently, the Executive’s consultation on “Paying for Water Services”. Pagoda also aims to promote a positive understanding of the economic and social contribution made by private housebuilders across Scotland.
