Community Consultation
Brief
Bett Homes, is a leading house builder who wished to undertake a pre-planning application community consultation for proposed residential development of a school site.
We prepared and implemented a community consultation strategy, to assuage strong opposition from a residents' action group and others in Bearsden, prior to a planning application being submitted.
Results
- managed all correspondence with neighbours and others with an interest in the site
- built relationships with all local elected representatives, through one to one contact
- managed face-to-face communication between the developer and residents at public exhibitions
- issued news releases to all local media
- completed a full report interpreting the results from the consultation
