Giselle Dye


Giselle runs a tight ship and is rigorous in her approach to high-impact media relations, community consultation and integrated campaigns.   She has over 25 years’ experience both in house and in consultancy and her PR experience spans the public, private and third sectors. She is also a former winner of the IPR Sword of Excellence for Best Long Term Campaign.

Today, she leads on a number of client accounts including Heriot-Watt University and Waitrose, developing communications strategies and campaigns for such wide-ranging subjects as retail impact and new energy technologies.

Giselle joined Pagoda in 1998 and became a Board Director 2000. She was previously a PR manager at City of Edinburgh Council, responsible for developing media management skills across the local authority. Before that, she held a number of senior roles in Edinburgh and London.

She is a member of Queen Margaret University's PR Advisory Panel and provides pro bono PR consultancy to Inspiring Scotland and its ventures.

At work she sets the benchmark for style, perfect copy and plain English. Outside the office she loves walking on Portobello beach and in the hills, cooking and her garden; and she's just set up the UK's first dedicated, gluten-free craft brewery, Bellfield Brewery Limited with some friends - in her spare time.
